[2008-07-01] ELinks 0.12pre1

This is the first prerelease for ELinks 0.12. UTF-8 support is greatly improved from 0.11.4, and the SMB protocol module has been rewritten after the CVE-2006-5925 incident. There are many other bug fixes and enhancements too; please see the announcement or the NEWS file for the complete list. Although ELinks 0.12pre1 generally works better than 0.11.4, it also has a few new bugs that should be fixed before the final 0.12.0 release.

[2008-06-20] ELinks 0.11.4 has been released!

The final 0.11.4 release is available. It contains mostly bug fixes and translation updates. Hopefully this will be one of the last releases of the long lived 0.11 branch that came to life back in 2006-01-01, since all the goodies in the 0.12 branch bring considerable improvements in terms of UTF-8 support etc.

[2008-03-04] The release of 0.11.4rc1

This second release candidate mostly brings minor fixes, documentation improvements, and translation updates. A special thanks goes out to the new debian package maintainers: Y Giridhar Appaji Nag and Moritz Muehlenhoff who have given the elinks package a much needed update and, with the help of Kalle, have gone through the bug reports and identified fixed issues.

This will probably be the last release candidate before 0.11.4, so translators are encouraged to make updates! The only missing item on my TODO list is to synchronize changes in the doc/ directory with changes from the unstable branch(es).

[2008-02-05] ELinks 0.11.4rc0

Time is nearing another stable release, however, before hitting 0.11.4 a few release candidates seems to be in order to let any last pending changes migrate from the development branches. This release fixes a handful of critical bugs and security issues, including CVE-2007-2027, as well as some minor problems. You are adviced to upgrade!
